APHA 2013: Think Global, Act Local

The best and brightest minds in public health converge from November 2 to 6, as the American Public Health Association (APHA) holds its 141st Annual Meeting at the Boston Convention and Exhibit Center. This year’s meeting theme: “Think Global, Act Local.

Industry experts will spend the week sharing innovations and ideas from the latest public health successes. IQ Solutions is excited to share in this knowledge diffusion, especially as we celebrate our 20th year of public health service.

IQ Solutions’ APHA Activities

As we head to the APHA Annual Meeting, we are eager to share, learn, and grow from past and present public health accomplishments. Contributing on behalf of IQ Solutions will be Ann Mahoney, Ellen Robinson, and Adam Lee.

In addition, we ask all conference participants (onsite and online) to join us as we look to the future by asking one simple question: “What do you wish to see in the next 20 years of public health?"

Would you like to see type 2 diabetes incidence reduced nationwide? Are you looking to improve mental health diagnosis and treatment? Do you wish to see socioeconomic barriers dissolved? Whatever your passion may be, please help us create a “Public Health To-Do List.”

To contribute to our wish list, visit our online form. If you are attending the APHA meeting and would like to contribute in person, please visit us during exhibit hours at booth 722. We hope to see you there! Here’s to moving public health forward!
