With five more national awards added this season, IQ Solutions is approaching its goal of more than 100 awards for a decade of excellence in a wide variety of web, editorial, and publication categories. This time, wins include recognition for web design, a mobile website, Facebook, Twitter, and a popular blog.

“Congratulations to our long-time clients, the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) at the National Institutes of Health and the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (ODPHP),” said Ileana Quintas, CEO and founder of IQ Solutions. “For us, award wins are an added acknowledgment of our commitment to quality and a job well done.”

Current awards include the following:

Blue Pencil/Gold Screen Awards

NIDA’s Sarah Bellum Blog

Part of the NIDA for Teens Website, the Sara Bellum blog is one of the first Federal blogs targeting teens. This is the second consecutive Blue Pencil/Gold Screen Award from the National Association of Government Communicators (NAGC). Developed by the IQ Solutions web team, the Sara Bellum blog opens the dialogue between teens and NIDA about the science behind drug abuse and addiction. With scores of blog posts written and published—the majority authored by IQ Solutions bloggers—online traffic has increased each year since July 2009.

NIDA’s Drugabuse.gov

In the Mobile website category, NIDA’s m.drugabuse.gov received a Merit Award. For this work, IQ Solutions Project Manager Paulina Puig, M.A., assembled a team of web professionals to address design, development, social media, content, and marketing. In addition, Ms. Puig’s team also won a Merit Award for the redesign of the NIDA website at http://www.drugabuse.gov/.
