IQ Solutions Names Michael Collins as Senior
Vice President of Information Technology

Rockville, MD—IQ Solutions has announced the appointment
of information technology (IT) expert Michael Collins
as Senior Vice President of Information Technology.
Mr. Collins will lead technical implementation and
planning, requirements analyses, resource management,
cost estimating, and risk mitigation activities for
all company IT projects, and he has specific responsibility
for architecture development and maintenance.

Mr. Collins has 25 years of experience in managing
public and private sector IT initiatives and is a
certified Project Management Institute (PMI) Project
Management Professional (PMP) and certified Network
Engineer (MSCE, MCNE, and CNE).
In a previous senior management position, he oversaw
reporting and communication for a contract with the
U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS)
Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) in
addition to managing the development of remotely
hosted solutions, requirements analyses, network
architectural design, network security, application
design, and the database and data warehouse for all
projects. He also provided architectural, project
management, and business leadership in the development
of beneficiary and claims-based business applications.
