Public Health Research Analyst

A hashtag that describes my tenure at IQ Solutions: #researchdiscovery

The strongest talents that I bring to bear to the team include, but are not limited to, the following: great attitude/work ethic, analytical and statistical skills, dependability, resourcefulness, attention to detail, effective organization, excellent writing and reporting, and proofreading abilities.

I am a flexible individual who enjoys learning new skills and quickly adapts to organizational changes. It is exciting to have the opportunity to work in teams creating a template for machine learning that would become the acceptable mode/standard in the area of prevention research. It is also interesting to bring an orientation to detail to this project to ensure consistency in the work.

The biggest inspiration for me is being a part of the broad public health field, which involves being a part of the processes that translate into improving the well-being of large populations and advancing health globally.

My Thoughts

World Sickle Cell Awareness Day

Sickle Cell Disease

Information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)shows that sickle cell disease can occur in anyone, though the risk is higher in some subpopulations.

Sleep and its Benefits

Lack of sleep will interfere with the natural healing process that takes place within the body, which is detrimental to health and wellness. Sleep is not only beneficial to physical health but to emotional health, safety and quality of life. A good night’s sleep improves learning of any type as it helps in maintaining attention, making decisions, and being creative.

Give Kids A Smile

A smile can be a window to one’s soul. A smile can be very effortless, yet very rewarding. It melts the heart, warms the soul, and brightens up and refreshes one’s spirit.
