CVS Health Introduced Customers Nationwide to National Drug & Alcohol Facts Week®

IQ Solutions has supported National Drug & Alcohol Facts Week® (NDAFW) since the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) launched the annual event in 2010. This national health observance empowers teens and young adults with science-based facts on drugs and alcohol to help them make informed decisions.


For NDAFW 2019, IQ Solutions supported NIDA in securing a groundbreaking collaboration with CVS Health to help promote NDAFW. For 3 weeks in January, CVS highlighted NDAFW through in-store rotating audio PSAs and print and digital merchandise receipts in 9,800 retail outlets. IQ Solutions scripted and produced the two in-store audio public service announcements and the digital and print receipt messages—reaching about 5 million CVS customers daily. All efforts combined, this collaboration reached an estimated 105 million customers, elevating the NDAFW brand and sharing important messages about resources to educate youth on the risks of drug use. We look forward to helping NIDA further activate its collaboration with CVS Health, among other key collaborators, as we celebrate the 10th anniversary of NDAFW in 2020.
